Most hotels in Samet are concentrated around the beaches of the east coast of the island. Prices for accommodation vary from a few hundred baht in small bungalows to 4000 baht in luxury hotels, for example, on the beach of Ao Prao.

On the northern beaches of Samet, Hat Sai Kaeo and Ao Hin Kok, a lot of bungalows are designed in the traditional Thai style. In addition, there are several high-class hotels on the northern tip of the island. And, here, on the beaches stretching farther to the south, you can find a wide variety of bungalows, ranging from gloomy shacks to four-star air-conditioned suites.

The tourist season in Samet is from November to February and from June to August, and the search free housing for these months can be problematic. In addition, it is worthwhile to beware of trips here on weekends and holidays, as the island is just overcrowded with Thais.
