This was my first trip to the city on the Neva. It was February, the weather was slushy, unpleasant. But the Moscow railway station of Petersburg met us with good weather. We did not make reservations for the hotel, we thought that it would be possible to find accommodation upon arrival. So it was. There were several exit from the station people who offered to rent apartments for a day. But the prices were too high. Therefore, we decided to stroll along Nevsky, it was only 9 am. Going along the main street of St. Petersburg, we saw a sign in front of the arch, with the name of the hotel.
