Les Arcs in the heart of the French Alps is an area with several small resort settlements, most of which are functionally built ski areas station. The main principle of the development of such settlements is to provide convenient skiing and food (that is everything from grocery supermarkets to restaurants).

The largest station of the resort is the Arch 1800, which can accommodate up to 19 thousand tourists. It differs greatly from other settlements of the Arch 1950, built recently, in 2003-2008, in the style of the Tyrolean town with its own central square and numerous offers for recreation and leisure. Arch 1950 is positioned as a fashionable and often compared with Courchevel.

Accommodation in the whole territory of Les Arcs is offered mainly in the apartments. There are not many hotels.
