During our next trip to Prague we chose the Certovka hotel. The most important of its plus is the location, right in the historical center, just a couple of steps to the Charles Bridge.
Of course the number cost us more than usual, but it was worth it. It was not necessary to spend precious time of vacation on transport, and trips to the tram too cost money.

My wife and I traveled to many European countries and always tried to walk. This hotel was chosen specifically so that you could go in during the day to rest, refresh yourself, etc. The Devil is located near the river of the same name and 50 meters from the Charles Bridge. The hotel is solid 4 stars, but there are nuances: at the reception desk (Russian do not understand) you need to ask to settle higher and on the side of the bridge. Half of the rooms face the wall. We went to Prague for only three days. The choice fell on the "Devil" solely because of the location. Namely because the hotel is conveniently located in the historic center of the city, near the Charles Bridge.
We lived on the first floor. From it Charles Bridge is seen from below, an unsuccessful survey. Now if you knew at once, you could book your room on the third floor.

One of the main advantages of the hotel Chertovka - its location . It is located in the central part of the city, on the bank of the Vltava River tributary . From our third-floor rooms we had a wonderful view of the Charles Bridge, to Wenceslas Square on foot thirty minutes . We practically did not use public transport because most of the attractions are ten minutes walk from the hotel . The rooms in the hotel are double and single . Our double room was spacious enough and clean . Was cleaned every day . Russian ORT channel is working, there is internet . Can be ordered t Ansfer from the airport, but we did not use this service . Breakfast included in the price of the hotel . We did not indulge in special delicacies: standard omelette, tea-coffee, fresh pastry . Near the hotel we found a couple of pretty decent cafes where it's delicious and inexpensively dined . Overall - very positive impressions from the hotel . We liked it .
